Who gets listed

We list charter boats, fishing guides and party boats that take paying anglers out from the towns we cover, and that anglers can reach directly.

Who is left out

• Booking platforms and agents.
• Lead-generation sites that use one template and phone number across many towns.
• Boat rentals without a captain.

Facts, not reviews

Listings show the basics: the boat, trip types, the fish, published prices and how to get in touch. We do not rate, rank or review, and a listing is not an endorsement.

Order and paid placements

Every town page lists captains alphabetically. One City Spotlight per town sits above the list and is labeled Featured. Paying never changes the A to Z order.

Updates and corrections

We update listings from time to time. Captains can update or remove their listing free at any time on the listing form.

Conditions data

Tides, weather and river flows come from public sources like NOAA, the National Weather Service and USGS. They are for planning only – the captain always makes the call.

Our decision

Whether a business is listed, and on which pages, is our decision.
